Composition
This packing is manufactured by FIBRAS Y ELASTOMEROS S.A. from glass filaments yarns impregnated
with P.T.F.E. and a high temperature resistant lubricant in order to improve the sliding. After braiding, it is externally coated with PTFE.
The packing is diagonally braided and it is the asbestos-free economic choice to the traditional asbestos
+ PTFE packings.
Specially useful to avoid shaft stripes because unlike abrasive fibers, the glass fiber polishes the liners
reducing this way the maintenance charges.
Recommended for general uses in steam up to 270ºC water , air,gases, oil and in weak acid and alkalis
medias.
