Composition
The glass type "E" yarns get a bigger mechanical, abrasion and impact resistance through a special
chemical treatment. Afterwards they are coated with a vermiculite treatment.
Due to its technical properties as well as its wide range of temperatures, this product is the most suitable
to substitute the traditional asbestos products. Thermal and mechanical properties are improved in comparison to other substitutes such as ceramic products.
Specially designed for applications where there is a combination of high temperatures and material strain
or abrasion such as ceramic barrows, brick manufacturing, closure of inductions ovens, doors etc.
Treated glass fibre products for high temperature do not produce skin irritation nor they are harmful for
the health.
