Composition
Compound packing made of special mineral yarns with high lubrication and chemical resistance
reinforced on the corners with a high abrasion resistance and toughness synthetic yarn.
This packing has high lubricating and mechanical resistance properties due to its diagonally braiding and
the addition of sythetic yarns on the corners. It is suitable for using in damaged shaft because of its excellent elasticity and adaptability to the stuffing box.
This packing is suitable for high-speed centrifugal pumps avoiding the usual problems of starting
the machine because of its high content of lubricant easing this process and avoiding shaft damage due to a minimum friction coefficient and rapid heat dissipation.
MONTERO PACKING MG 974 has been design for centrifugal pumps applications, dynamic equipment
and even in vacuum equipment.
This packing is specially recommend for applications where emission control is necessary.
