Composition
This packing is manufactured from PTFE yarns having a high content of encapsulated graphite, it is
diagonally braided.
The type of braiding and the high content of graphite make a very flexible and adjustable braid, it
combines the extraordinary chemical resistance of PTFE with the high heat dissipation of graphite.
The PTFE of the yarns gives the packing a good resistance of chemical attack. This packing can be
considered of universal application except for strong oxidants like (nitric acid, nitrohydrochlonic, materials
alcaline melted).
MF-262 is able to provide lubrication to the shaft during its service´s life.
Packing very suitable to adjust in every type of stuffing box of rotary and alternative equipments,
and valves in general.
